Located in beautiful and sunny (over 300 days a year) metropolitan Denver, Aurora Public Schools (APS) is a progressive, vibrant, inclusive, and diversity-rich school district with over 40,000 students. As the fifth largest public school system in Colorado we are also one of the most diverse school districts in the state. The district has 59 schools: 4 early childhood education, 25 elementary schools (P-5), 5 P-8 schools, 1 gifted and talented K-8 school, 6 middle schools, 1 6-12 school, 1 P-20 Campus, 4 comprehensive high schools, 1 vocational/technical college, 4 pilot schools, and more.
